Semogue 2000, 25mm HahaThat is a beautiful-looking brush, especially, the handle! Semogue makes wonderful brushes, especially, the boars. I only wish they would offer a boar knot larger than 24mm.
Congratulations.
Hahaha! Well, I was hoping in the area of 27-28mm.Semogue 2000, 25mm Haha

I have a 2000 and it sheds like no other brush I ever saw.Semogue 2000, 25mm Haha

I also wish they made larger brushes.
I have had that on a few brushes. I go in with a magnifying glass and a pair of fine nail scissors to snip 'em off as close to the base as possible. Obviously, care and attention is needed - don't want to cut any other hairs.Discovered why my brush feels prickly, there where some thick black hairs inside the knot. Best way to go about this is to cut them out I suppose?
That is what I have done with other boar brushes, in the past. Make sure you make the incision as close to the base of the knot as you can, though.Discovered why my brush feels prickly, there where some thick black hairs inside the knot. Best way to go about this is to cut them out I suppose?
Tempted with the Silvertip be interested in how your finding it ?Silvertip #47 arrived today/ Shifts permitting......I hope to use it by the weekend.
It is a lovely brush.....just the size I like. I shampooed it a couple of times and after a few shaves I would consider it to be broken in. It feels luxurious with nice backbone. I would unreservedly recommend it!Tempted with the Silvertip be interested in how your finding it ?
