Today I tried the Nacet for the second time and a Chiseled Face soap for the first one.

The blade disappointed me, notwithstanding the mild razor. The soap pleased me both for mechanical properties and scent: perfect for the 4711!

After yesterday's mediocre shave it was great to have a face stroking finish today.

Williams Mug soap
ER "Streamline"
Gem S/S [ 2 ]
Tuff Green A/S Lotion

Back to using Vintage SE , which IMHO require more care and attention whilst shaving than AC/SE. However, get it right and a Shave with a "Streamline" rewards you with an ultra close finish the equal of those delivered by my AC/SE Razors.

Razor: Fatip Gentile SE

The Gentile is a little too gentle for my liking. Should that be a suprise given the name? Takes too much work to get a good finish and then irritation follows. I've swapped the Gentile plate for the Piccolo and will give that a go next.
