A rather nostalgic Shave with this Icon of the AC/SE Shaving world, as I am passing it on to pastures new. I have far too many Razors of different persuasions so need to thin out the holdings. A great Shave today which nearly made me change my mind, but as I am tending to favour some of my newer additions I will maintain my resolve, already in a box to go.
The Mongoose really has to be one of the Classic AC/SE Razors and I have enjoyed using it over the years, and I think its going to a good Home.

Did I enter the lavender tunnel?
Better in the lavender tunnel than the sewage tunnel, if only for the smell! (I see, however. a light at
the end of the tunnel: I hope it's not 9:05 to Rome!)

By the way, I like the performance of the Valobra.

I often talk about fragrances, but for me they are essential to achieve my coenesthesis!

Even today I went out and faced the stupidity and approximation of people I meet. Anyone can do
silly things, but the "fool" will always be right no matter what the motives of those who dispute it.
And even if he evaluated them, he wouldn't be able to understand them. Why? Because he's
stupid! (I know you have already heard that in a movie...).
A vicious circle, right?
And that makes me desperate.

But now I'm home, alone, and the only nonsense I have to deal with is my own.
But I'm smart and I listen critically to my criticism, I analyze it, I evaluate it.
And then I reject it in its entirety!
Even if it's irrelevant: even if I accepted my criticism, I would be right anyway!
It's nice to live alone...

By the way... more than satisfying a shaving!

Preshave:
Hot water rinse
Razor: Edwin Jagger DE89KN
Blade: Nacet (2)
Brush: New Forest 2223 High Mountain Badger
Shaving Soap/Cream: Palmolive stick (grated)
Aftershave Balm: Nivea 2 Phase
Aftershave: Avon Rugger (vintage)

With temperatures reverting to more seasonal levels it's back to the soap rotation and Palmolive soap, a great budget priced performer. The combo skated over my sagging features even more smoothly than yesterday's to deliver a BBS, 9/10. Nivea 2 Phase provides a refreshingly cool shot.

Happy shaves.

Regards,
Chris
