I'm thinking your right!
They used to sell parts on their website. Not sure why they've stopped as they don't appear to anymoreWhy don't they simply offer to sell additional handles and top caps to existing customers? Problem solved.
If you Google Rockwell and top cap, you can find direct links. The 6S top cap is sold out, but the 6C gunmetal version is available. They used to sell parts on their website. Not sure why they've stopped as they don't appear to anymore
Ah, I didn't try that. It used to show as a top level entry when navigating their store, which is what I was looking forIf you Google Rockwell and top cap, you can find direct links. The 6S top cap is sold out, but the 6C gunmetal version is available.
I've been told that the 6c handles are not that sturdy.I only use the #6 head with a weeks growth and then switch to a #3 for the second pass. But mostly I use #3.
Your right about the sequencing though 1/3 Odd, 2/4 Even, 5/6 Extreme.
Is there any issue with the 6s handles or is it just a 6c issue?
How did you polish it?My new Rockwell 6S Polished..
Not perfect I know. This was big learning for me what to do. First time I tried something like this. I may work a bit more later with the finishing.
I haven’t shaved yet with it..

Mostly by hand with sandpaper. Started with 600 grit followed by 1000 & 2000 grit. Lastly I used white polishing paste and cheap polishing machine. How did you polish it?
Some have had issues with the thread going on the 6C. Never heard anybody moan about that with the 6S.I've been told that the 6c handles are not that sturdy.
True. I had mine replaced because it was keep spinning when tightening to the top cap.I've been told that the 6c handles are not that sturdy.
Looks nice. I wish they'd come like that.Mostly by hand with sandpaper. Started with 600 grit followed by 1000 & 2000 grit. Lastly I used white polishing paste and cheap polishing machine.
