I like the look of this, all in proportion! I have a few questions ...

Did you drill the hole yourself or was it cut when the plate was initially lasered?
Did you glue the peg in or is it just a nice tight fit?
Is that a rubber base on the base, glued?

Thank you for any illumination! I am considering a Rex and would have to have a stand to match my Feather. :okay:

I don't know how I missed this post! My apologies!
When you buy the round plate you just ask them to laser cut the hole for you.
The peg is just hammered in. I put the peg in the freezer and I warmed up the plate before inserting
The rubber comes with an adhesive layer.

Did you get the Rex eventually?

I am a very slow puchaser, so not yet! Thanks for the added info about the freezer, I'll do the same when I get the Rex ... 2022 by my usual rate of knots.

Forum GOD!
Could probably do with a soft covering on the bottom but I don't seem to have anything lying about that will do the trick right now.
Looks great! :okay:

I have my (original) Rex stand sitting on a simple rubber band. Prevents movement, and is no problem in case it gets wet.
