New UK Razor Replater

@JJ Shaves: For plating, do you also offer matte finishes?
Alternatively, do you plan on having a gentle sandblasting service to give gear a matte finish?

Sorry, this is something I have looked into, I’ve now spent over £2500 on plating equipment (I just had to replace the nickel plating solution after attempting to plate ZAMAK razors and contaminated my solution) and the profit margins are so tight that I’m still not close to paying for the equipment. Bead blasting is something I would like to do as it would be great for restoration projects, but I would have to buy industrial level equipment (to ensure a perfect finish) and practice a lot before offering the service. So it’s not likely to be something I offer in the near future.

Just received my razors back from JJ @JJ Shaves

Firstly, I just want to say what a gentleman Stephen (JJ) is. He patiently helped me with all my questions and then turned my request around very quickly. He's one of us and was doing me a favour really at veryow prices he charges, yet I felt looked after all the way through. I'm thorough happy with what he's done. Thank you @JJ Shaves

Now on to the razors. I wanted my Fatboy retuned and plated and my fat handle Tech to look nice and shiny again. I also wanted this brass Stando Rod replated in nickel:
