Mild, my friend

I also like mild, smooth and efficient. If you want all that in stainless steel with just a wee bit of perceptible blade feel at a no-brainer price point I recommend a razorock game changer .76. It’s as mild as the .68, but just a shade more efficient, and has less blade feel than the .84. The RRGC.76 has become my current favorite modern razor. Also consider a razorock lupo. I love my original DLC, but never bonded with the gen. 2 .58 or .72. It’s my impression that in general the lupos have more blade feel than the game changers at similar gaps.

Timeless. 68 OC

RR Gamechanger 84 SB/OC (avoid the JAWS plaid, it's a harsh fellow imo and not a mild one either)

RR Lupo 72 (SB/OC) - a tad more bladefeel than the 84 GCs.

Karve CB w/ C plate (SB/OC)
Mühle Rocca

If you are not tied to SS razors:

Lambda Athena
Timeless Bronze .38

You can't go wrong with any of them...

Cheers!

It's a minefield and you're different from every one else.
For me from above.
Gamechanger 84SB - Harsh but OK but nowt special.
Lupo 72SB very smooth shaver, mild with a bit blade feel. Apparently very Wolfman like in the shave.
Karve SS - SB C plate, a good all round razor with enough about it to make it interesting. Really like mine.
Muhle Rocca - Horrible
Timeless Bronze - Horrible, so much so I would not try any other Timeless razors, looks can be very deceiving.
Lambda Athena - one of the best looking razors out there, a smooth, very efficient razor with a touch of blade feel. Love.mine.
For what it's worth as YMMV.

I hate when folks ask questions about razors, there are no correct answers. All faces and preferences are different, we all have to find what works for us. I think it was easier before the internet, fellas just bought a razor and shaved with it.

This statement was off - and I get it.
One might go wrong with any of these razors, you are right @Tonyschin.

I have named these razors to give some hints which razors might be suited or at least of interest for the OP. As an idea which razors might be worth to look up more in detail.
Nevertheless, there is no guarantee, as your mediocre experiences with these razors show.

Have a great Sunday!
