Mail call - this has just arrived. Thanks ever so much @p.b, the brush looks and feels amazing. I have also just received this Gillette Tech, wasn't expecting but it looks very nice. Does anyone want to own up to sending it?

Could anyone recommend a bowl for the Cyril Salter shaving soap? The wooden AoS size bowls are too small unless I shave off some soap.

A kind PIF, given a good heavy clean with PAA brush soap. Good rinse & vigorously dried on a towel. Now doing the 3 day cold water fridge thing.

@shaunif you like your boars stout, you are going to enjoy that Omega. Unfortunately mine had a backbone of jack hammer but i am not holding it against omega. Not all boars are created equal or supplied with same QC from China

David, the current (recently reformulated) version is superb and is now stocked most places (I got one from Amazon.) It contains shea butter, lather and post shave is very good and scent strength is "robust."

All Floris soaps are triple-milled, Alex.
Were very good, years ago, but then went through the dreaded reformulation like Trumper's and Penhaligon's. I'm hoping this is a return to excellence.
