Just received this morning, and from reading some of the reviews - this looks quite interesting.
I've read this book twice now and it is truly an eye opener for anyone that has an interest in UK politics. I would also suggest reading Ian Dunt's latest book, but I would suggest that you keep an open mind before starting both of them and don't have any preconceived thoughts either way.

I’ve read a few of these ‘forgotten classics’ now and, although enjoyable in their own way, they are definitely Championship rather than Premier League material.

This one is a pleasant, if undemanding, read but the author is rather over wordy; as if he was being paid by the line.

I like a good murder mystery novel, long journeys up to Edinburgh used to fly by in the car with a good crime CD. I had a plot idea and sketched out the characters and motives for a whodunnit based on the wrong person picking up a book in a telephone box library.

Then swipe me, someone else has beaten me to it

Those who have the courage, by Matthew Wright.
A brand new book, launched yesterday, actually. My son is serving in the RNZAC, so a very personal read. Heavy reading - literally - at almost 2.7kg and 648 pages.
if you are interested, ISBN 978-1-99-004255-3.
