I like Japanese Macha ice cream.. that counts right?

Japanese matcha KitKats are also very nice!I like Japanese Macha ice cream.. that counts right?![]()
I am pretty sure as well Green Tea doesn’t help my stomach. I suffer pretty bad acid reflux and take meds for it every morning. If I don’t take it I suffer for days until my acid levels reduce. I do like a coffee and start the day with an Aeropress after that it’s tea, and I keep a tins of Coke in the office fridge, neither bother my stomach. I know a green tea was starting to play me up, perhaps it was that lack of milk to bring it down a bit as with normal tea ? I quite like M&S Gold label tea bags, I find them better than Yorkshire. But it is all a question of personal taste.I'm with Vac and Northam. I drank a load of it in Japan (and matcha mochi, matcha ice cream, and yes, matcha KitKats). All the sweet things I would happily have again but the tea just doesn't taste nice to me any more. I'm also a die hard coffee nutter so it's a big ask, regardless of what health benefits are ascribed to it.
However my bp is high, mostly with life and work stress, and I'm sure I would be better off drinking matcha than my home pulled espressos. You may draw your own conclusions!![]()

Same here. If you accidentally miss one do you suffer for a couple of days ?Ditto
Take Lansoprazole daily
Not usuallySame here. If you accidentally miss one do you suffer for a couple of days ?
I take one 30mg and if I miss it I know by lunchtime. Not usually
Depends on what I’ve been eating really
I sometimes take two a day
Now you have me concerned, I have been on them around 8 years !!!!I don't think it's good to be on the PPIs for too long. My ex had them for years but they did very little and ultimately she needed an op for hiatus hernia. Once she finally got that done she was right as rain. Another mate of mine was on PPIs for years and ended up with Barrett's oesophagus so it's worth kicking the doc once in a while, don't just take them forever and hope.
Never once has my doctor done any follow up checks. I did see him as they were failing to work on 15mg he simply doubled the dose and just repeats. This was a downfall whilst on nasal steroids. I took 200mg twice a day for two long. Next thing I have a fast growing cataract. He refuses to agree it’s the steroids. However all indications, the drug leaflet, optician and all online sources say steroid use can cause this. I really avoid the doctors. Over a year ago I was experiencing ectopic heart beats. The Apple Watch said so, the seven day machine from the hospital agrees. So I need an echo cardiogram. Well I started waiting and still waiting. In the meantime the ectopics aren’t so bad but my Diastolic BP is high.Sorry, I don't want to alarm anyone and I'm not medically qualified, but just going by experience of 2 close friends. Docs are all too happy to prescribe and forget, but these things do need follow up checks.

I’ve been taking them longer than that. Mainly 15mg, there was a time when it was 30mg but didn’t feel I needed it. Sometimes I do take 2 a day but normally self inflicted if I do.
