Feather F11 Neo - Not bad at all.

I am a regular user of Vintage SE/ Injectors and modern AC/SE Razors. After a few days away I came across this Feather Cart I brought years ago as a Carry on, with my main Razor in Hold Luggage. I have used it a couple of times and was not too enamoured.

I thought that with 2 days strong growth why not give it a go. With a great Vitos lather, I did not rush and used light no pressure strokes to have a very nice Shave. Obviously my technique has improved as I am rather chuffed at the quality of the finish I got without any hassle. Even the A/S did not sting and the skin feels moist and refreshed.

Though I quite enjoyed the Shave I cannot see me returning to Carts, as I suffered quite badly with skin rashes.However, I may well give it a go on overnight stays.

I have been ogling these for over a year, but for some reason, always hesitated when considering buying them. Maybe I should reconsider.

Then again, maybe I should up my game, get off my bum and try to design an adapter for injector or half-de blades that could be used in plate of one of those cartridges.

I think you should try and get one of the 3D printed Razors going the rounds.
But if the F11 can deal with a strong beard like mine, it would make a lovely carry on Razor for many. I did try the Gillette Guard without success.

Agreed - this is my cart of choice. I get a far closer shave with this than a Gillette Sensor

I have. There are some more to try, and I have a few designs of my own that I'd started sketching out that I'd like to eventually make into proper printable models.
However, I think having something that fits on a common cartridge razor handle, but that can be loaded with an injector or a half-DE blade would be an interesting option to have.

I use this razor when I need to use a cartridge razor and it is much better than the Gillette cart razors.

Also reads that the F3 blades will fit the Neo ii - mind you, looking at the F3 handle, looks a beast! May need to get that, and some 2 bladed carts separately!

Yes F3 blades fit the Neo 2, (MR3 and Samraiedge too)
Last year I bought a Neo 2 and a cartridge pack directly from amazon.co.jp,
an interesting alternative to the Mach3,
I liked the possibility to lock the cartridge.
