And guitarist Craig Ross solo of Led Zeppline's "Whole lotta love" from 2012 Kennedy centre awards, Is dare I say it better than Jimmy page's!

I can give you my No 1 song without any hesitation. It will always be so and Mrs Plane has been instructed that it gets played at my funeral. What is it? Status Quo - Caroline. I have seen them 36 times and have probably as many albums

What else?

Marillion - Script For A Jester's Tear

Judas Priest - Breaking The Law

Led Zeppelin - Whole Lotta Love

There's just so many others...

Frankly I listen to very little rock - jazz is more my thing. From the 70s and 80s I'd pull out these. If you don't love the Bangles (1986) you're not human. Hall and Oates 1981 is a classic. Chrissy Hinde from 1986 was as charismatic as Susanna Hoffs. 1986 was an epic year. I'm also going to include Clean Up Woman from 1971, though it's more a soul classic, just because it's one of the greatest beats ever.
