Do you clean the wax residue on your blades?

If a blade is moving in the paper and has no glue dots, then it loses its cutting power?

Personna blades have no glue and seem to manage quite happily.

I have no idea to be honest my friend, it's just an OCD thing One thing I really dislike is unwrapping the blade and having the wax paper tear and stick to the blade because of glue spots. Cleaning the plate and top cap because of glue spots is also annoying.

Such a hard life, having to deal with those pesky wax dots!

If anything it will reduce chatter (if you have a crap razor) and deaden sound, making for a quieter shave, might even reduce the corrosion tendencies of zamak, or lubricate threads for longer life.

The biggest issue i have with glue dots or wax is because its so sticky it atrackts dirt and impurities i like a clean blade without any stickyness
