This morning, I should have woken up in a nice hotel on the island of Lanzarote

Due to CovId 19, my wife and I are confined to the house - with only decorating to look forward to

Just feeling a little sorry for myself . .

Sorry to hear that mate. Try to find some time to live life as you would on holiday, splurge a bit on nice take aways, sit down together for a glass of wine. Take a day trip if you feel up for it - it's allowed from Wednesday I believe.

I hear you, Paul! It's tough missing out on plans, especially when it's something as relaxing as a Lanzarote getaway. But hey, maybe you can turn that decorating into a mini adventure—new color schemes, some fun DIY projects? Could be a creative escape until the real one happens!
