MWF bath soap is simply marvellous. Leaves the skin feeling great and has the scent and aura of yesteryear about it. Rather nicer whiff than the shaving soap. Great big bars too. I shower every day and generally get about two weeks, +/- a day or so, from a full size bar of Mitchell’s.

I've recently bought some rather nice Saponifico Varesino 70th Anniv. bath soap and feel like this could be another rabbit hole to fall down so what do people on here like?

I know there's a shower gel thread but I felt a solid soap thread was justified - If not, could the mods please shift this into there.

That’s easy, your girlfriend or wife is your bath soap recommendation. She’s very good and smooth with her bare skin, feet and hands. She’s knows how to keep you smooth and soft as a baby bare bum.

I like Pears original transparent.
It has a great flesh clean scent and a 3 pack only cost $4AU locally.
Also a great pre shave soap with its high glycerine content.

They do a very nice blue Pears soap, only problems is that it wears out very quickly

True its not a long lasting soap.

I have been showering for many moons with bar soap. About 15ish(?) years ago i learned about and started using "handmade" artist bar soaps. I like and practically used only Stirling Soap Co. More recent i've "added" ME (Morgan's Essentials) and Buff City Soap bars to my showers, 2 local bar soap "makers" i can physically go to and get soaps from.

I re-remember art bar soaps went a monthish of every day showers before i put the last bit of each bar into a "soap bag" that once filled up i use as a "bar" of soap.
