Bath Soap Recommendations?

I enjoy Mitchell’s bath soap. Mr. chazt likes how I smell after showering. Another excellent soap I’ve enjoyed for many years is Green Mountain soap (gmsoap dot com). They make a tallow (original) version and a veggie as well. Tallow for fall and winter, veggie in spring and summer. I buy them buy the case. Both are excellent imo.

+1 for Mitchell's bath soap, absolutely wonderful stuff, I prefer the round bars but that just a matter of choice.

You won't regret it...... The slick thick lather off Brian's block soaps are on par with his shaving soaps and the scent of the dragon's blood is phenomenal. I've got 2 bars to get through and they are huge. Im looking forward to ordering more once I start on the last bar.

Also take a look at Irish Spring soap, i used some in the States, lovely scent!

You can get it on Amazon & EBay.

My favourite was discontinued, I have tried plenty of times to track some stock down but failed. Valobra Glicerlanolina, use to come in rectangular bar you could chop in half, as on its own it was too long. Wish I had bought more when I could, but there you go !

Learned a heck of a lot on here! Thanks to all.

I used to use plain-Jane gold Dial as a shower soap. While it works fine. It’s been really hot this summer, lows of high 90’s and settling at 106-109 on average. Work and then softball drills with my daughter in the early evenings. By the end of the day, I’m pretty ripe. With that, Dial left me dried out with showering twice a day on weekdays.

I recently swapped to Mitchell’s Wool Fat shower soap. Really liking it, smells really good, and doesn’t dry me out. I’m not a big fan of lotions, light layer of Aquaphor on my tattoos only. So far, I haven’t needed it. Great product, IMO.

I like Mitchell’s, Heno de Pravia soaps, and more recently Aleppo 70% Laurel as Pre Shave. Speick also produce some nice natural soaps.
