Looking for recommendations for a Barbers in Birmingham.

Anyone had any experience with The Barbers House, Barberology, Goodlife Barbers, Jakes Barbers or The Gentleman Barber?

Cheers
Rob

I don't know about Birmingham, Rob, but every shaver in the area, should make an attempt to go to my old friend Gary Haywood's shop in Nottingham. He is a straight razor aficianado, honer extraordinaire, and gentleman of the first order. I'm sure a person could learn alot from Gary in the course of a pampering during a haircut and shave.

If I ever make it back to my hometown, I intend to drop in on Gary at his shop... BTW, I believe the shop itself is quite old and has a bit of history.

Thanks for the recommendation.

I was in Nottingham a few weeks back to see a band. If I'd know I would have popped in.

Cheers

Just a quick update. I decided to go to Barberology in Hockley.
Very pleased with the service and more importantly my haircut.
Glad you got a nice cut Roberto! I had no recommendations as the council does my hair!:D
Actually in seriousness there are some outstanding barbershops in the UK with a sort of resurgence in traditional men's grooming. What did you go for in the end..Mullet (short on the sides for business, long and wild at the back for the weekend!)? I'm sure it was great!
